Who Am I?
I’m Michael--a portrait, fashion, and commercial photographer. From celebrities, fashion models, and business professionals to families portraits, birthday shoots, and soon to be moms and brides, I really love taking photos of people. But I also love just being creative and capturing beautiful images of art.
My artistic journey began when I was just a kid, sketching portraits and capturing images from my imagination with pencils, markers and paint. By the time I was 12, I had already began displaying and selling my artwork in galleries. It wasn’t until I took a photography course in college while pursuing my passion for writing as a magazine journalism major, that my gift for photography was revealed.
The most amazing experience as an artist is being able to see an image in my mind, pick up my camera and turn that vision into a tangible reality. I get to work with amazing people, and with each person I shoot, and each project I undertake, I walk away with a new, memorable experience, and a smile on my client's faces. Every shoot is different and each has its own set of challenges and fun. Photography is about capturing moments, whether fleeting or still, that ultimately last forever, and to me, a photograph is about as true and real as the reality we live in every day.

1. What is a photography retainer subscription?
A photography retainer subscription allows you to secure regular photo sessions throughout the year at a discounted rate. It ensures you have high-quality, consistent content for personal or business use without needing to book individual shoots each time.
2. What does each package include?
Each package includes a specific number of photo shoots,retouched images, and additional services, such as video reels (available in Pro and Premium packages). Full package details are outlined in the pricing chart.
3. How does the quarterly payment work?
Payments are made at the start of each quarter. You’ll receive an invoice with a due date. Once payment is received, your subscription benefits (shoots, images, and services) will be available for that quarter.
4. Can I customize my package?
Yes, we can tailor a package to suit your unique needs, such as additional shoots, images, or video services. Custom packages may incur additional costs. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
5. What if I don’t use all my shoots or images in a quarter?
Depending on your package, unused shoots may roll over into the next quarter. However, roll-over limits apply, so it’s best to schedule your sessions promptly to maximize your benefits.
6. Are travel expenses included in the package?
Local travel (within 30 miles of Los Angeles, CA) is included. For shoots outside this radius, travel expenses (transportation,lodging, etc.) will be added to your invoice. All travel arrangements must be confirmed at least 14 days before the shoot.
7. Can I purchase additional shoots or images?
Absolutely! Additional shoots and retouched images are available at discounted rates for retainer clients.
- Additional Shoots: $750 per session.
- Extra Retouched Images: $55 per image.
8. What happens if I need to reschedule a shoot?
We understand that schedules change! Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule without a fee. Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the shoot may incur a $100 fee.
9. What is included in a typical photo shoot?
Each shoot includes the agreed-upon time, creative direction, photography, editing for a set number of retouched images and a complete photo gallery. Pro and Premium packages also include video content for social media reels.
10. What is the turnaround time for edited images?
Turnaround times for edited images are typically 7-10business days, depending on the scope of the shoot. Video reels may takes lightly longer. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
11. Can I request additional edits after receiving my images?
Yes, you can request additional edits per image. All requests must be made within 14 days of receiving the final deliverables and will incur a fee.
12. Do I own the rights to the images?
You receive a license to use the images for personal or commercial purposes, depending on the package terms. The photographer retains copyright ownership. Reselling or re-editing images without permission is prohibited.
13. How do I cancel my retainer subscription?
You can cancel your subscription by providing written notice at least 14 days before the next billing cycle. Unused benefits from the current quarter will not be refunded or rolled over.
14. What if I have a specific concept or idea for my shoot?
We love bringing creative visions to life! Share your ideas during your consultation, and we’ll collaborate to make it happen. Please note that complex concepts may require additional time or resources, which could incur extra costs.
15. Can you provide makeup, styling, or props for shoots?
Yes, we can arrange for professional makeup artists,stylists, or props upon request. These services are not included in the retainer packages and will be billed separately.
16. What is your cancellation policy?
Shoots canceled less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee. In the case of emergencies, fees may be waived at the photographer’s discretion.
